Tolerance - Pain Management gone wrong. Advanced Pain Treatment

A commitment to stay clean.

Understanding After Treatment.

The most important issue that faces patients with an addiction created from Tolerance is residual pain. It is critical that we work with your physician to develop a modified plan for pain management so that you can best avoid another dependency.

You will need to follow up with your physician on an ongoing basis to manage your condition. It has become apparent that after a medication tolerant patient becomes drug-free, there may be issues with residual pain. You will continue treatment under the physician who performed the initial operation for your condition, unless ongoing treatment has been assumed by your family practitioner. Should we, in consultation with you, feel that you are best served by changing physicians, we can help provide lists of physicians who may be available in your area.

Another common response is patients having periods of depression or anxiety. We will need to assure that once you are drug-free, that you avail yourself of other after care programs to support yourself in case of any underlying physical or psychological issues.
